Dear Ladies,
  Greetings to all! Praying you are well and that you are finding ways to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones while staying safe and healthy. On behalf of the Board, we would like to extend our best wishes for a Merry Christmas filled with Faith, Joy and Peace. God bless you and thank you for your continued support.

Our next membership meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 7pm. Upon entering the Council, your temperature will be taken. Masks must be worn throughout the duration of the evening except when seated. Attendance is taken and your membership card will be checked.

The Festivities will begin right after our Membership Meeting. $20 per person includes Dinner, Dessert, Coffee, Soda. *Cash Bar* This year we are having a contest for the most festive Christmas hat. We will play Christmas Bingo and have our annual sing-a-long. You must be a member in good standing to attend. Your dues must be paid by 12/2/2020.
Thank you to all who are participating in our Advent Raffle during the month of December. Adorn your home with beautiful poinsettias or share the Christmas spirit and give as gifts to family and friends. Nothing like live plants and in the color of your choice! Fill out the attached flyer and return by December 8. Any questions, call Rosemarie Prendergast, VP at 516-996-5191.
A Ladies Auxiliary Fundraiser open to all: Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends - all Knights family and friends. Children will receive a customized letter from Santa that will include information unique to them. $5.00 per letter, per child. Orders must be received by 12/15/2020 for letters to be mailed and received by Christmas. For order form and more information contact Amy Bermudez, PP 516-384-9566 or Stiles07@aol.com. Ladies Auxiliary masks will be for sale at our next meeting. First come, first serve. They are adjustable, washable and full color - $10 each. If you would like to purchase a mask or have any questions, please call Vanessa Ambrosecchia, PP at 516-551-5276.
Please submit your annual $15.00 membership dues for the 2020/2021 Auxiliary year to Amy Bermudez, Financial Secretary at our next membership meeting or mail to Ladies Auxiliary Attn: Amy Bermudez, PP Financial Secretary, 2985 Kenneth Place, Oceanside, NY 11572. If you wish to have your card mailed back, be sure to include a self-addressed STAMPED envelope. Membership dues are to be paid by December 1, 2020. If we did not receive payment of your dues for the 2019/2020 year you are in jeopardy of having your name removed from our roster and mailing list (see By-Laws IX-Dues). If you are 80 years old by September 1, 2020 you will be considered a "Lifetime Member" and your dues will be waived. You must provide proof to Financial Secretary, Amy Bermudez, PP at 516-384-9566.
If there is a Sister in need of Financial Assistance through our Fraternal Assistance Program, all proposals must be submitted in writing. For more information, please contact Financial Secretary, Amy Bermudez, PP at 516-384-9566.
If you know of a member who is sick or has had a recent death in the family, please notify Lisa Kahl, PP at 516-633-1376. Please continue to keep PP Jane Magno-D'Anna in your thoughts and prayers as she is recovering from surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery. Please keep Member Carol Harrigan’s husband, who is also our Brother Knight Jack Harrigan, in your thoughts and prayers.
Keeping in line with the Knights, we are now going digital. The newsletter will be emailed each month to you along with flyers and other pertinent information. If you, or another member you know, do not have access to email, please contact Tricia Daley.
